Learning and Engagement Volunteer
PWRR and Queen's Regiment Museum CIO
Join our enthusiastic team at the PWRR Museum, inside Dover Castle, to help support learning, craft and engagement activities for children and families to bring our history to life.
The PWRR and Queen's Regiment Museum is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us with family learning and engagement in our galleries, helping engage people of all ages in stories about our history. Throughout the year (particularly during school holidays) we run a fun mix of engagement activities in the galleries, from object handling to craft activities. These opportunities help our visitors engage more with our collection and the stories of the soldiers who’ve served in our regiment. Our outreach volunteers will be a public face of the museum, assisting with family activities and sharing the stories of soldiers from our regiments. We’ll give you all the information you need to succeed, and welcome your ideas and suggestions to make the work we do even better.
