We are looking for a qualified Yoga instructor to plan, and then facilitate a mother and baby yoga classes. This is a unique volunteering opportunity to be part of a specialist in patient unit. Mothers are admitted with their babies and receive specialist perinatal mental health care and treatment from our specialist team. Our unit has been designed by mums, for mums and we have, as part of the multi professional team, mums with lived experience.
Teaching & Training
Teamwork, Organising & Planning, Talking To Others, Managing People
• Yoga instructor qualification and experience • Relevant qualification/ experience with mothers and children (e.g. Early years, teaching, nursery nurse, midwifery etc). • Working as part of a team • Working with people with Mental Health problems • Previous experience of running a mother and baby group • Working in Hospital/Healthcare setting • Previous voluntary work
