We are currently looking for caring and compassionate individuals who are willing to volunteer their time to transport our Residents to medical appointments, on day trips, theatre trips and shopping trips etc.

We are currently looking for caring and compassionate individuals who are willing to volunteer their time to transport our Residents to medical appointments, on day trips, theatre trips and shopping trips etc. You will be required to provide a clear and full Adult DBS check, hold a full UK driving licence, would need to be confident in driving our adapted minibuses, and be very reliable and committed to volunteering your time for our residents. Our residents will be supported by at least one of our fully trained, competent carers on all outings and volunteers would not be required to assist with any of their physical care. Volunteers will be caring, compassionate, empathetic and understanding individuals, and in return they can be assured and very satisfied in knowing they will be making a big difference to our residents’ lives, whilst our residents get to benefit from time outside of their home, in a different environment

Managing People, UK Driving Licence, Talking To Others, Outdoor Work
Clean UK driving licence and a compassion to work alongside severly disbaled people who live with Huntington's disease and other neurological conditions.
The volunteer driver with work alongside profoundly disabled people, giving them the opportunity to attend social activities, events and appointments and thereby enhancing their quality of life.
