Bus Adventures & Friendship
Royal Mencap Society
Share bus trips, coffee chats and friendship. Just six visits a year can make a difference.
Could you spare a few hours every couple of months to build a friendship with a friendly man in his early 70s who has a learning disability? He loves buses and enjoys getting out and about, whether that's taking a bus trip, visiting Manston Airport, browsing for transport magazines, enjoying a coffee, or having a game of bowling or crazy golf. He communicates in his own way and can take a little time to get to know, but he's great fun to spend time with. You'll be supported by friendly staff, and your six visits a year could make a real difference.
