Having the right attitude and a passion for improving the lives of young people are the most important things. If you think the person specification below sounds like you, then please get in touch: • You are a great problem-solver and can think outside the box. • You have some experience, or would like to gain some experience, working or volunteering with young people. • You enjoy working as part of a team and independently. • You have the ability to recognise the learning needs of each young person. • You are reliable, honest and trustworthy. • You are a good communicator. • You will be a role model to young people.
As an independent charity, recruiting skilled and passionate volunteers to join our team is vital to our mission of inspiring young people to achieve their potential through challenge and nautical adventure. Your experience will be invaluable to us as we grow our charity to offer even more young people the Sea Cadets Experience! We offer volunteers training and qualification opportunities. If you don’t have any water sport qualifications, we’ll provide you with all the equipment, training and the opportunity to gain national qualifications with the Royal Yachting Association, for example.
