As a Volunteer Photographer and/or Videographer, you'll help capture the heart of ADSS by photographing and filming our events, activities and services across Kent and Medway. Your images and videos will showcase the positive impact of our work, helping to raise awareness of dementia, support fundraising and encourage community involvement. Working alongside our Communications and Marketing Team, you'll create engaging visual content while ensuring the dignity, privacy and consent of everyone featured are always respected.

We're looking for someone with a passion for photography and/or videography and a creative eye for capturing authentic moments. You should be confident using your own camera or filming equipment and have basic editing skills. Good communication, reliability and the ability to work respectfully with people from all backgrounds are essential. An understanding of confidentiality, consent and safeguarding is important, along with a willingness to represent people living with dementia with dignity, sensitivity and respect.
By volunteering as a Photographer and/or Videographer with ADSS, you’ll have the opportunity to use your creative skills to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people affected by dementia. You’ll gain valuable experience creating content for a charity, build your portfolio, meet new people and become part of a friendly and supportive team. You’ll also develop your skills, learn more about dementia support, and enjoy the satisfaction of knowing your work helps raise awareness and share inspiring stories within the community.
