Help secure grants, sponsorship and fundraising support for a local RAF Air Cadet Squadron.

Detailed Description

402 (Gravesend) Squadron RAF Air Cadets supports young people aged 12–20 through aviation, leadership, adventure training, community engagement and personal development. We are looking for a Volunteer Fundraising & Development Manager to help us strengthen our long-term sustainability. This role will support the Squadron by identifying fundraising opportunities, researching grants, developing local partnerships, supporting sponsorship approaches and helping us plan practical fundraising activity.

Why these skills are required

We are looking for someone organised, proactive and confident in written communication. Experience in fundraising, grant writing, sponsorship, business development, marketing, events or community engagement would be helpful, but is not essential. The most important qualities are reliability, initiative, attention to detail and the ability to turn ideas into practical action. The volunteer should be comfortable researching opportunities, drafting written materials, approaching potential supporters and working collaboratively with a small volunteer team.
