These skills are important as you'll be working as part of a team. The ideal volunteer will need a keen interest in bikes and their maintenance which you'll use, with support to inspect, service or repair bikes in the work shop. Please be aware that you will need to be able to physically carry out workshop tasks, including moving and lifting bicycles when required.
You will meet new people and become part of our wonderful team. Volunteering with us is flexible, with hours that can be arranged to suit your availability. You will join a friendly team, make new friends, and receive full training along with ongoing support. This opportunity will help you gain confidence, develop bike repair and maintenance skills. As a volunteer, you will make a meaningful difference while enjoying a 50% discount on donated items across all our shops. Travel costs can reimbursed as part of your role. You will also be able to join in with any of our internal network activities.
We are flexible around your availability, but do recommend being able to stay at least 2 hours when with us.
