Plan, organise and deliver events while ensuring volunteers are engaged, informed, and co-ordinated.

Detailed Description

Responsibilities Event Management: Plan and deliver Whitstable Maritime events, including scheduling, logistics and on‑the‑day coordination. Volunteer Coordination: Brief and support volunteers, ensuring they have clear roles and a positive experience. Co-ordinate volunteer availability, event attendance and activity outcomes. Communication & Liaison: Act as a point of contact for volunteers, partners, and community group What You Bring Strong organisational skills and confidence coordinating people Clear communication and a friendly, community‑minded approach Ability to work independently

Time Commitment

Approximately 2-3 hours / week depending on time of year.

Whitstable, Faversham and surrounding areas preferred. However Kent area also fine. Some work can be done remotely.
