You will need to be confident and able to follow instruction. There will always be staff with you and you will work as part of a team, but you also need to work on your own initiative.
Volunteering with disabled children builds empathy and enhances key skills like patience and communication. You will gain valuable experience which you can use for your future career. There is also the possibility of this leading to employment with us as a Play Support Worker.
Chill-in Youth club is run fortnightly on Tuesdays from 4.30-7.30pm - we would ask that you commit to one a month. Buzz club and family days out are held in all school holidays across different days. We ask that you offer support to one of these activities on a regular basis (we appreciate every school holiday is a big ask)
