Administrator to make small cost applications for charitable grants.
Everglow needs a volunteer who will join our team and be kind enough to please help us with their experience of making applications for charity funding and/or funding applications for any purpose. this will involve some research to identify the specific requirements/criteria of the grant funder and applying our charity's information which will be supplied in several forms , in order to strengthen our applications and chances of success. These will be for smaller grants under approximately £10,000, for our campaign for a Mother and Baby Residential Respite Home to avoid perinatal mental illness
Administration
Basic IT skills - internet & email, Reading & Writing, Research, Reasoning, Organising & Planning
Skills needed include the points listed above Ability for emails and Internet research, Reasoning and very clear communication, good knowledge of the English language, and to interpret the information provided and apply it to the specific requirements of the application. some innovation and a sense of humour will be a bonus
The opportunity to increase knowledge base and skills in all of the areas listed above, and in charity work and the complexities of funding, grant applications and VIP to us is the perinatal failings and issues which are leading to mental illness and suicide, so this would be of great value to anyone who has an interest in this, which currently is very high on the political and media agenda.
The time and hours is dependent on mutual agreement and applications as they arise.
