• Help individuals explore and take next steps into volunteering. • Keep current opportunities up to date and visible. • Promote volunteering in the Borough
• Support people to discover volunteering that fits their interests, skills, and availability. Respond to email enquiries, meet individuals, search online for roles, keep records up to date, and help at events to promote volunteering. • Support the Volunteer Centre to identify opportunities and events to publicise volunteering in the community e.g. fayres, roadshows, community magazines etc. • Respond to enquiries; meet people to discuss interests and options. • Provide info on roles/organisations; support applications. • Search online for new opportunities and update records. • Assist at events to promote volunteering.

Skills & Qualities Needed: • Friendly, approachable; good listening and communication. • Basic IT for online searches and emails; organised; attentive to detail. • Willing to learn about local organisations and roles.
Training & Support: Induction and training on systems and local opportunities. Regular reviews/check-ins and ongoing guidance.
Flexible; ideally a few hours a week.
