Transport Administration Assistant

Ashford Volunteer Centre

Support our transport service with accurate admin and clear communication. You’ll register clients, take trip details, enter trips into CATSS, manage emails, answer the phone, process payments when needed, and write a clear handover at the end of your shift.

Detailed Description

Role Purpose: • Keep transport admin accurate and up to date during your shift. • Ensure clear communication and smooth handovers. Key Tasks: • Take trip details and record directly on transport forms; enter trips into CATSS. • Register new clients; answer phones; process payments when required. • Manage and clear the transport email inbox before finishing. • Send transport information to clients and key stakeholders. • Write an end-of-shift update so the next person knows the status. • Signpost to other AVC services via the main email address. • Lead transport admin for your session (a CATSS Navigator may be present to schedule trips). • In downtime, promote the transport service to GPs, local groups, and other stakeholders. Skills & Qualities Needed: • Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry. • Good IT skills; confidence learning CATSS. • Organised; clear communicator; able to work independently.
