Volunteer Driver

Ashford Volunteer Centre

Provide safe, friendly transport for people who need help getting to essential appointments and activities. Use your own car; mileage is reimbursed.

Detailed Description

Role Purpose: · Transport clients to agreed destinations. · Help clients feel safe, respected, and supported. Key Tasks: · Drive clients to/from destinations using your own roadworthy car. · Use the CATSS Driver Portal (Lynx) to confirm trips and keep mileage up to date. · Communicate clearly with the transport team, follow trip briefings. · Keep accurate records for mileage reimbursement. · Follow safeguarding and confidentiality guidelines. Skills & Qualities Needed: · Full, clean driving licence; insured, roadworthy vehicle. · Reliable, punctual; friendly and respectful communicator. · Able to use the CATSS Driver Portal (training provided).
