Working with different private and public landowners. The tasks vary from season to season, and will improve, maintain and sometimes create habitat for wildlife and occasionally access improvements for nature appreciation. A member of KSCP staff leads the tasks, providing tools, information and guidance. All you need is sturdy footwear, appropriate clothing, a packed lunch and possibly a lift.

No special skills required, but a reasonable level of physical fitness. We work outdoors, all year round, on sites that often have uneven ground. We try and support people to take part by giving them roles within the task that they will be able to fulfill, but there can be limitations dictated by the location and nature of the work at hand.
You will enjoy learning more about wildlife and it's habitat. Enjoy the numerous physical and mental health benefits of working outdoors with like minded people. Team work is crucial and satisfying when you see what this achieves and the positive social benefits of quiet support and companionship. Some skills training can and will be offered as part of the work and depending on needs and circumstances.
On site 10:00 to 15:30 / with pick-up 9:30 to 16:00. If you are able to offer your time till 13:00, this is welcome but only if you can make your own way to and from site.
