Conservation
There is no prior knowledge or skills needed for this role. You will need to be aware that it we work outdoors, on uneven ground and some times steep slopes doing physical work. However everyone can work at their own pace and have breaks when they want. we will give any required training and support and supply gloves and tools.
The benefits of doing this are numerous. firstly it is an opportunity to get into the outdoors in beautiful places in your area. We always have lively conversation and it is a great way to meet new people and learn new skills. We some times have experts come and give us guided walks.
we run weekly tasks on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday and the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month. There is no expectation that the volunteer would turn up every week. just come when you can, and do what you can.
