Chair of Trustees to lead, govern, and help launch a new charity, Unseen Expeditions UK CIO.
Unseen Expeditions UK is a new charity supporting mission-led expeditions and partner causes. Our flagship project, The Unseen Mile, is a 4.5-year journey covering 25,000 miles across 37 countries. We are seeking a Chair of Trustees to provide leadership, ensure good governance, and guide us through registration and early operations. This fully remote role requires around 2–6 hours a month and offers the chance to shape a high-profile, adventure-driven charity from its very beginning while working with a small, committed board.

-Strong leadership, organisational, and strategic skills -Understanding of charity governance and trustee responsibilities (training can be provided) -Ability to work collaboratively with a small, remote board -Comfortable communicating online with stakeholders and other trustees -Commitment to the mission and values of Unseen Expeditions and its partnered charities -Basic IT skills for email, video calls, and online document sharing -UK-based (required for legal trustee responsibilities)

This role requires an average of 2–6 hours per month, including quarterly trustee meetings, occasional sub-committee meetings, and fulfilling your specific trustee responsibilities.
