Home-Start South West Kent
Home-Start volunteers needed.
Parents/grandparents needed to join our amazing team of home visiting volunteers, to be matched with a local family and visit or meet up once a week. Our volunteers offer practical and emotional support to families with pre school children who are having a difficult time. The support might involve helping a parent to get out and about, playing together with the children or simply a cuppa and a chat with the parent. We cover the districts of Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge and Malling, Edenbridge and Sevenoaks town.

All we ask for is parenting/caring experience and kindness!
We have a team of around 60 wonderful volunteers, we offer intial and ongoing training, a friendly monthly meeting and full support from a staff member.
after the training of 2 x 4 hour sessions, the commitment is 2 hours per week
