Volunteer Tractor Driver

We are looking for a volunteer tractor driver, to help at the Rare Breeds Centre in Woodchurch.
As a Volunteer Tractor Driver, you will assist with various agricultural tasks that require the use of a tractor. Your role will directly support the Rare Breeds Centre operational activities, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of the visitor’s tractor trailer rides, equipment, and materials. You will work closely with farm staff to maintain operations and contribute to the success of the farm’s projects.
Driving (must have full driving license)
UK Driving Licence
Skills & Qualifications: • Experience operating a tractor or heavy machinery is preferred but not mandatory. Training will be provided. • Strong understanding of safety practices and the ability to adhere to safety guidelines. • Ability to work independently or as part of a team. • Good physical condition, capable of performing tasks in outdoor environments. • Punctual and dependable. • A positive attitude and willingness to learn. • The role of volunteer tractor driver is customer facing, as so will require the volunteer to have great people skills, and be able to answer questions and interact with visitors in a kind and professional manner.

The easiest way to reach the Rare Breeds Centre is by car, from Ashford travel on the A2070, leaving at the Hamstreet turning, head down the hill to the village and take the turning on the right just before the Dukes Head pub onto the Warehorne road, drive for one and half miles, the entrance to the Rare Breeds Centre is on the right hand side.
