No special skills are needed as part of our remit is to support skill development.
The opportunity to improve your writing skills and develop an understanding of journalism, with the potential to learn more if you wish. A chance to build up useful contacts across a wide range of industries, as well as making new friends. You will also be able to make your voice heard and influence what the public and politicians think. You can let people know about the amazing local places they might have missed, and become an active part of your local community.
The average article takes the average person two to four hours to produce. If you are young and in full time education, we will limit you to two a week, but otherwise it's up to you.
