Volunteer Social Media Assistant

To provide admin and editing support to the social media worker to enable a full and varied social media presence across all platforms used by Age UK Herne Bay and Whitstable.
• To undertake such duties as deemed appropriate by your line manager. • To be able to deal with information of a confidential and sensitive nature. • To adhere to the organisation’s Policies. • Create marketing and social media content • Ensure brand consistency in marketing and social media messages • Increase presence on existing platforms including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram • Edit Video and photos taken by staff members to ensure best edit for use.

• To be methodical, conscientious, courteous and polite. • Good communication skills when dealing with clients, work colleagues and other statutory and voluntary agencies. • Punctual and reliable. • Be able to work as part of a team. • Undertake other reasonable tasks from time to time.
