Join our Board of Trustees – Making Miracles At Making Miracles, our vision is to be the leading provider of bereavement support services and tools to help families adjust to their new normal following birth trauma and baby loss, empowering them to lead healthy and fulfilling lives. Started in 2014 by our inspirational CEO, Kelly Wells, we are a small charity based in Kent in the South-East of England. Over the past decade, we have embarked on an incredible journey, supporting thousands of grieving families. Kelly has personally extended her expertise through lectures and support to universities, charities, and organisations and is widely recognised as an expert in her field. We’re proud to celebrate our 10th anniversary, reflecting on our significant achievements and looking forward to a promising future. To fuel our growth ambitions, we are expanding our board of trustees, seeking individuals with expertise in Finance and HR. A strong board of trustees is crucial for any charity to operate effectively. At Making Miracles, our trustees collaborate closely with the operational team to set the strategic direction and ensure our long-term success. Currently, our board consists of six dedicated volunteer members from diverse backgrounds, meeting on a bi-monthly basis. You can learn more about trustee duties in the Essential Trustee article from gov.uk.
