Come help serve lunch and chat to the lovely members of the Wye community.
We are always looking for volunteers to help with running the community lunch in Wye. Held in the large village hall every other Wednesday we need people to help set up, cook and serve the food and clear up at the end. You would need to arrive at 12 noon to assist with moving tables and chairs, laying the tables and prepping the food. Our members usually arrive for a 12.30 service and leave by 1.30pm ish. You would also be helping clearing tables, washing dishes and most importantly chatting to and getting to know all the lovely people who attend. We are usually finished by 2pm.

You will be interacting with often the most marginalised members of our community - the elderly - who all look forward to the lunches immensely. You will also have the opportunity to work as part of a team, coming together to make sure that we are read for everyone on time and have everything in place.
