Volunteer Driver - Herne Bay

The role involves collecting the member from their homes and bring them to our event. What you will be doing is providing passengers will full details of journey pick up and arrival times and guiding veterans who don't have an escort. Full training is provided to add sighted guiding to your skill set.
We are looking for a volunteer drivers to support our veterans attend a local coffee morning held on a Wednesday. Volunteer drivers are essential to helping our veterans engage in events and activities to help reduce their isolation and loneliness. Coffee morning are usually held on the third and fourth Wednesday of the month.
Community Work,Driving (must have full driving license)
UK Driving Licence, Talking To Others
The skills required are full clean driving licence, own car. Be friendly and welcoming, patient and good at using your initiative. Full training and support provided. Reasonable out of pocket expenses.
This role helps our veterans re-engage with their communities. The opportunity helps you make the difference to someone else's life. Opportunity to make friends and socials.
Regular commitment on a Wednesday.
