Assisting the leader to enable participants living with dementia and their loved ones to join in.
Dementia Chorus Volunteer - Hythe. Your role would include: Working closely with choir leader to enable participants (people living with dementia, or memory problems, and their loved ones) to join in with the singing. Joining in with the workshops yourself. Helping the Dementia Chorus Coordinator to deliver hospitality to all participants. including preparing the room before and cleaning the room after workshops, as well as preparing drinks and other refreshments. Helping the Coordinator with the delivery of evaluation tools.

Gain knowledge & skills within the Bright Shadow Dementia Chorus and organisation. Improving social skills.
2.5 hours a week; the group meets regularly and we would welcome volunteers who could commit for a fixed term number of weeks, or on a rolling ongoing basis, dependent on your circumstances.
