Kent Mining Museum
Front of House volunteers will help our visitors enjoy our new museum. They will encourage visitors to engage with Betteshanger’s mining heritage, natural environment, and the collection. They will use brilliant communication skills to share their passion and enthusiasm for the local history with a wide range of people.
Every volunteer offers invaluable support to the Kent Mining Museum. Volunteering provides an opportunity for you to bring your skills, experience, and enthusiasm to a broad range of tasks, while also becoming part of a supportive team and community and learning new skills. You will be helping visitors to enjoy their experience at the Kent Mining Museum. Front of House volunteers will help our visitors enjoy our new museum. They will spend time in the galleries, encouraging visitors to engage with the site's mining heritage, natural environment, and the collection. They will use brilliant communication skills to share their passion and enthusiasm for the local history with a wide range of people. This is a great role for someone who loves sharing their stories, spending time chatting with people who share their interests and learning new things.
