Diabetes UK - Family Group Chair
Finding out that you or a family member has diabetes is hard. It's often helpful to meet other people who have been through something similar. Our network of local groups can offer understanding, help, and support at an important time. Diabetes UK groups are based in the community and are run by a number of dedicated volunteers, each having different skills and experience. Do something meaningful for people affected by diabetes in your local area Meet new people and make new friends, both in the group and in the local community Learn and develop valuable leadership, teamwork and people skills Make a real difference to the success of the group Induction and training given by Diabetes UK Regular communication with your local volunteering team Free Diabetes UK Membership If you spend money on things like travel or lunch while volunteering, we will pay you back for this
