Volunteer (Zoo)
Hemsley Conservation Centre
The HCC relies on dedicated volunteers to assist keepers with day to day roles, gardening, enclosure maintenance, education and visitor engagement.
The Hemsley Conservation Centre (HCC) is a small zoo based in Fairseat, Kent. Home to a number of rare and endangered species from all over the world, the HCC is dedicated to shining a spotlight on these species, supporting breeding programs and education. While the HCC has employees who give our animals the best care they need, the centre also relies on dedicated volunteers to assist keepers with day to day roles, gardening, enclosure maintenance, education and visitor engagement. With a number of unique opportunities available, volunteering at the HCC is a fun and fulfilling role!
