Tutors/teaching assistants

Supporting students with course work, reading, maths, 11 plus syllabus. Assisting with tasks and topics. participating and assisting with enrichment opportunities.

Detailed Description

This role is for aspiring or retired teachers. We would like to recruit persons with a passion for teaching. The subject areas that we are seeking are mathematics, English, reading, foreign languages and arts. Anyone with a musical ability will also be considered as we wish to evolve by adding more creative opportunities to the programme. During the summer we run a more involved programme and would be very much interested in input from sports, yoga and any form of PT instructors. The aim of our programme is to work with young people in disadvantaged areas to improve their academic outcomes. This will give you the opportunity to develop and or maintain teaching practice, to support peers or young people and to contribute positively to the future outcomes for a young person.
