Kitchen assistant at the Tuesday Drop-In lunch, to assist the cook in preparing a hot meal.
Volunteer Kitchen assistant at the Tuesday Drop-In lunch, to assist the cook in preparing a hot meal for 10 to 20 people. Fully equipped large kitchen. You will support the cook to produce a hot meal and dessert. This may include, peeling/chopping vegetables, mixing ingredients, general food preparation etc, all under the supervision of the cook. Some washing up of cooking pans/ utensils but not general washing up as this is covered by other volunteers. Support given and access to food safety course if required. The meal is provided free to any local people that need it.

3 to 4 hours per session. One or 2 sessions a month.
