Help raise funds for Folkestone Sports Centre, which provides sports for the whole community and runs health and wellbeing projects including for people with dementia and stress and anxiety and much much more. It's a place for sport and fun for all the family and for all ages and abilities. Folkestone Sports Centre Trust is looking for a volunteer fundraiser to help raise funds for the charity, working alongside the manager and other staff, and the trustees. You might be someone who already has experience of fundraising, and the skills to take a lead on this for the Trust; or you might be someone who has good ideas, enthusiasm and energy. Either way, you need to be a good communicator, and enthusiastic about what the Sports Centre does. Role responsibilities- To assist in developing a strong and innovative fundraising programme To help plan and deliver a range of fundraising activities to help support the work of the charity KEY ACTIVITIES might include: To assist in devising, organising and supporting, fundraising campaigns, promotions and events To pursue innovative ways of raising money for the charity To help our supporters to become fundraisers Past activities have included fun days and raffles and going out with collection buckets. Or it could be writing fundraising bids or contacting local businesses for sponsorship. We are open to all ways of fundraising and this role could be done by several different volunteers with different skill sets. We look forward to hearing from you.
