Hypo Hounds Puppy Parents

Hypo Hounds is looking for foster families for their puppies. A foster family will have a dog live with them for around a year, whilst they are undergoing their training. All expenses for the foster dog will be reimbursed. To qualify you would need to be at home with the dog for around 80% of the time. Have a secure garden and access to exercise 2 – 3 times a day. Offer a loving stable no smoking home. Must also be able to attend weekly training classes in Smarden.

Detailed Description

Hypo Hounds is looking for foster families for their puppies. A foster family will have a dog live with them for around a year, whilst they are undergoing their training. All expenses for the foster dog will be reimbursed. To qualify you would need to be at home with the dog for around 80% of the time. Have a secure garden and access to exercise 2 – 3 times a day. Offer a loving stable no smoking home. Must also be able to attend weekly training classes in Smarden or facilitate Hypo Hounds’ trainer coming to you weekly for training. Must have a vehicle suitable for the transportation of a dog. Previous dog experience is not essential. Foster families are supported throughout the process by Hypo Hounds. When Covid allows there are regular get togethers and events where foster families can all meet up and it is a fantastic way of getting out meeting people and having fun. This is an amazing opportunity to do something wonderful for a child with Type 1 Diabetes.
