To help older people maintain their dignity and independence by assisting in our community based resource at The Joe Fagg Community Centre, Stanhope Road, Ashford.
To establish, maintain and develop relationships with service users and members within the day centre. To provide support with self-care tasks, nail and hand care, hair care, general skin care and hygiene if required in support plans. To provide assistance with serving meals and dish washing. To work with individuals to maintain their mobility and independence. To be involved with the planning and implementing of activities in the Community Centre. To adhere to the organisations policies and associated legislation with regard to health and safety, food hygiene, confidentiality and disclosure, privacy and dignity, autonomy and independence and more.
