Cat Community Rehoming Volunteer
Battersea
Caring for Battersea cats in your home temporarily until a suitable and permanent new home can be found for them.
Battersea are looking for people who are willing to look after cats in their home temporarily until a permanent new home can be found. Applicants should be over the age of 18 years and there should not be anyone under the age of 10 years in the household. We ask that Community Rehoming Volunteers (CRV's) have a spare room for settling a cat, own no other cats or dogs and would not leave a cat on their own for more than six hours roughly. Battersea will provide full training for the role and all resources needed for the cat including food, litter, medical treatment etc We ask CRV's to complete a weekly questionnaire to let us know how the cat is getting on. We encourage CRV's to help us find suitable new homes for the cats, promote responsible cat ownership and spread our key messages. We ask CRV's to commit to at least six months. Here is a link to the website with more details and an application form https://www.battersea.org.uk/about-us/battersea-communities
