We are in urgent need of Processing Officers who are responsible for checking, scanning, sorting and cataloguing donated books at our Processing Centre in Canterbury.
We are in urgent need of Processing Officers who are responsible for checking, scanning, sorting and cataloguing donated books at our Processing Centre in Canterbury. As part of the Processing Team, you will be scanning/entering the barcodes/ISBN numbers of books using a computer and a barcode scanner, as well as supporting the sales, multimedia and rare books team. Casual volunteers: can volunteer any day/time of the week and complete any number of hours they set. Interns: are expected to commit to volunteering at least once a week and have a target to complete a minimum of 200 hours of volunteering (or set their own target hours beyond this). Certificates and reference: Only issued to both casual volunteers and interns after completing 200 hours. Shifts: Anytime between 9am – 5pm weekdays and Saturdays

Volunteers can order lunch from any of their favourite restaurants via Deliveroo during their shift at the Canterbury office (max £10). Meet people from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds and get a certificate and reference letters after completing 200 hours
